Writer Robert W. Cabell alleges that Adam Sandler’s latest movie, Don’t Mess with the Zohan, is derived from his comic book The Hair-Raising Adventures of Jayms Blonde and his 2007 novel of the same name. Take a look and decide for yourself. Both Cabell’s comic and Sandler’s movie feature tough guys (a gay superhero and an Isreali assassin, respectively) who happen to be hairdressers, though Jaymes Blonde is actually hot.
Cabell’s attorney has issued a cease and desist order against Sandler and Happy Madison Productions. Sandler’s publicist dismissed the allegation as being “without merit”.
Regardless of the outcome of this standoff, can’t we all just agree that Adam Sandler character movies are played out?

Adam Sandler has developed into a good actor. He needs to leave the character movies behind….for Jim Carey.
